Our legal assistance for expatriates
Most Gesper clients are global corporations. In addition to its recruitement and HR services, Gesper has developed a dedicated program to assist its clients in managing formalities prescribed by Moroccan employment law for their foreign employees (expatriates or detached).
This HR service provides the following services:
- ‘Foreigners’ Employment contract or ‘Foreigners’ work permit
Every client may subcontract to Gesper the mission of obtaining an abroad employment contract for its expatriates, or detached.
Gesper in accordance with the law, takes care of the necesary steps until the employment contract is delivered to the client.
- Residence card or registration certificate
Upon obtaining the ‘foreigner’ employment contract, a process is launched for obtaining a residence card or a registration certificate.
The mission ends with the delivery of the receipt of residence card to the client which will enable the foreign employee to bring back personally (for security reasons) its final residence card or registration certificate to the ‘Police Prefecture’.
Domestic firms or subsidiaries of multinationals deciding to hire a non-Moroccan with local contract (contract governed by the laws of host countries) must provide a certificate from the ANAPEC to hire a non-Moroccan employee (Except of course for countries which have an agreement with Morocco).
Gesper can according to the formalities prescribed by law, be responsible for obtaining this authorization.
- Tax Clearance
In the case of departure from Morocco of a foreign employee, he or she will need a tax clearance to remain in compliance with the Moroccan law after its departure.
Any company has the possibility to outsource this part to Gesper.
